Week 7 2008-2009

Wednesday night at Freeway Lanes for a change. We pre-bowled this week because of the Browns/Giants Monday Night game on the 13th. I think tonight was only the 2nd time that all 5 of the Llama Chasers bowled this season. Maybe Brick should bowl on Wednesday's every week. He bowled a 212, 235, 225 - 671, his highest series on the year. He also added 3 more llamas to run his season total to 12 on the season, which is more than the rest of the team combined. Tom also bowled a very solid 607 series. Bryan had his high game on the year of 152. Kevin bowled a very steady 515 series and Ryan continued to lower his average with a 519 series. But this night on the lanes was less about bowling and more about Geppetto. For those of you who haven't heard the stoic Super Llama is heading off to serve the Army in Iraq. He will likely be in Iraq for a year. On Friday October 17th, he will be heading down to Fort Bragg, NC for a few weeks of Basic Training and will head off to Iraq, accompanied by Ryan's nephew, in early November. We will be adding pictures to the web site updating Geppetto's fight on terror. Please keep him and all of the troops in your thoughts and prayers!
