2008-2009 Week 16

Chooo!!!! Chooooo!!!! That is the noise of the Brick Train storming down the Freeway Lanes. An amazing 257 followed by a 222 and a 226 for a sensational 705 which is the best series for a LLama Chaser this year. Brick had only 1 open on the night, he had 2 Llamas, and would have bowled a No Tap 300 in the first game if he had just waited a week. Kevin also had a great week with a 600 series. Even more impressive was the 4 Ever-Illusive Llamas, which is likely a team record.(An Ever-Illusive Llama is when you get 3 strikes in a row but fail to get the 4th strike needed for the Llama) Ryan had a solid 1st and 2nd game but struggled to a 148 in the third. He had a mind-boggling 8 splits on the night. Tom had a strong night and finished right around his series average on the year. We won all 7 games this week for the first time in a long time and I think only the second time all year. A nice way to finish up the first half that saw us go 52-60. Congrats to Brick on achieving another 700 series pin and virtually assuring that I won't win a penny in the bet between Tom, Brick, and I.
